How We Replaced The Shower Valve
We had a client whose Moen shower valve (see before photo) went bad. They wanted to replace it with a Delta shower valve. What’s unique about this particular installation is there’s no access behind the wall so the client was upset about that. We were able to put this larger cover plate on (see after photo) which allowed us more access from the front to replace the valve.
This cost-effective solution we came up with, eliminated the need for the customer to hire a drywall technician and cabinet contractor. There were actually cabinets behind the wall so we could not cut into the wall without damaging the cabinets. We completely eliminated that entire issue by doing everything from the front wall. The problem was solved with the larger cover plate on the after photo. The customer was super happy, and we saved them a lot of time, stress, and money.
